Know! Empowering Parents to Raise Their Children to Be Substance-Free

Our Guidance Department has requested that we feature the newsletter, Know!  Empowering Parents to Raise Their Children to Be Substance-Free, on our website.  This newsletter encourages parents to talk regularly with youth about the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs to reduce the risk of students using in the first place.  You can view the newsletters each month under the "For Parents" section of the website.

So You Think You Can Sing Vocal Talent Competition

Seneca East is hosting its fifth annual So You Think You Can Sing Vocal Talent Competition on November 5th in the Tiger Auditeria at Seneca East High School.  If you love to be on stage to share your vocal talent, this is the competition for you.  There is a middle school (grades 6 - 8) and high school (grades 9 - 12) division with prize money and trophies being awarded in both divisions.  This year our competition features a touring a cappella group from Tiffin University, so if you love to sing and be on stage, then come join us for a night of great music.  Guidelines and entry forms are on Seneca East's website at under the "community" heading. The deadline is October 29th.

Mayor Montz Visits SE

Aaron Montz, Mayor of the city of Tiffin, visited Seneca East and spoke to our student government leaders and student council members about service and leadership skills.  He brought a strong message about connections, progress, and community for our current and future leaders.
